Jessica Keeney, BA

Jessica leads the employee wellness, community outreach, and charitable missions at Lakes Region EMS. She graduated summa cum laude from Concordia University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and is certified in family and parent coaching. She has worked in emergency services for over 20 years in both fire and EMS capacities. During her time as a Critical Care EMT, Jessica worked as a field training officer and was awarded the American Ambulance Association’s Star of Life Award for going above and beyond for her patients and community members. She has also received a Pillar Award for outstanding customer service. She is the Vice Chair of the Invisible Wounds Project Board and is an active team member and board member of the Metro Critical Incident Team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Jessica is certified in both Individual and Group Crisis Intervention by the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation and has suicide intervention training. She has served on multiple emergency service advisory boards and is deeply committed to uplifting her emergency service colleagues and their families, while strengthening communities, and fostering the success of others.
